NEW ENGLAND EMD GP38 ENGINE PACK

The 2000hp EMD GP38 was very popular with New England railroads, particularly in the eastern New England States.  The Bangor & Aroostook Railroad and the Maine Central both purchased GP38 locomotives in the late 1960’s to augment their locomotive fleets.  The Central Vermont was not a purchaser of the GP38, but they did acquire several GP38AC locomotives in the early 1990s from their US partner railroad, the Grand Trunk Western.  Many of these locomotives are still in service today, although no longer in their flashy paint schemes of decades past.

Our New England Boxcar Pack would be a superb compliment to these locomotives, if you are looking for a well-rounded New England themed train consist.
