STARTER ROUTE - BNSF SCENIC SUBDIVISION
The BNSF Scenic Route is a starter route for those looking to explore the world of Open Rails. This package is a complete route with locomotives, rolling stock, and activities to get you started. If you do not have Open Rails installed, it is included with this software and will installed at the same time.

Open Rails Software (Installer Included)
Processor : 2.0 GHz (32 or 64-bit)
Memory : minimum = 0.5 GB, recommended = 2 GB or more.
675 MB of hard disk space
Graphics Hardware : minimum = 128 MB dedicated video RAM with Pixel Shader 2.0, recommended = 256 MB RAM with Pixel Shader 3.0
Graphics Software : as provided by Windows. Open Rails currently uses DirectX® - version 9.0c
Sound : compatible with DirectX® - version 9.0
1. Download and Install the software package. The installer will detect the presence of Open Rails and prompt to install it if it isn't found.
Note: Windows 10 Users may get a Windows Defender Smart Screen warning, as shown in the image below. This is due to the software not being currently certified by Windows. The software is safe to install on your computer. Use the process shown in the image below to install.
2. Once installation is complete, start Open Rails from the shortcut on your desktop or in your start menu.
3. Select TrainSimulations from the installation profile menu. Once selected, the BNSF Scenic Route should appear, and you will be able to choose to run the two provided activities or run in explore mode.
4. The following image shows the recommended experimental Open Rails settings to provide the best experience. These are optional.
